I'm curious if anyone knows what selection there is in the more expensive areas and non-supporters sections? I have seats in 108 and it seemed pretty empty at times this season. If they are not renewing it would seem that the 96% renewal might be a little skewed.

There were only a couple in 108 yesterday. They said in total that there were only about 600 seats to choose from and the the majority were on the west side.

I guess there are a lot of scalped seats in 108?

16,000 SSH seats total, and 600 are up for relocation (and resale after)

that's 3.75% of the total seats (16,000) back into the seat pool, which would technically give a renewal rate of 95.25%
    (
but I'm not going to call them liars for rounding up 3/4 of a single percentage point)

For the cost of seats in 108, you can go watch the raptors or leafs also not make the playoffs and your clients will be indoors, sheltered from the elements.

Yes, you'll also been indoors in an empty arena as they don't play in the summer :P

I am very happy where I relocated too, row 10 of section 119, seats 15-16, right on the aisle. I had two singles in 111 last year. In the first year I sat in 119 quite a few times and liked it. Looking forward to 2010.

Its interesting that the renewal rate is that high. Just shows that unlike some of the die hards here...other STHs find this an affordable sporting event in aggregate, and choose to attend the games that are convenient but they do not feel they need to be there every game for it to make sense for them to be a STH. Fine with me...but that can be the only explanation for the someonetimes 20% empty seats.

Don't worry, BMO field will be half empty in no time if this keeps up. Ticket prices in 108 are ridiculous for bush league MLS play.

yes yes, we all know that MLS quality is well below your high standards,
but it's the only game in town, so if you really can't bear to watch it... stop.

if it's not enjoyable for you anymore.............

My high standards? Clearly you don't know me

Anways, it's affordable and enjoyable for the section I'm in. It's the cost for tickets in 108 and similar sections that I find outrageous.

in the Monday 7.30pm slot there was a group of three about half way down on the south aisle. You can't take a pair from a group of three and leave a single, so that may survive for a bit. Although I think someone was heading off to nab one seat as a single in my relocation group which would scupper that!

otherwise, 119 had nothing available on monday night.

but if you aren't paying for seats in 108, why get upset for people who are?

I have seats in a very expensive section (and also in a cheap section) and I don't
feel 'ripped off' because my my expensive seats cost what they do. Sure we all
wish that seats could be cheaper, but compared to every other game in town,
TFC is still a pretty fantastic deal, even in the higher priced categories.

    5+3+1 =/= 10
The real renewal rate is 96.25%.

and just for the sake of comparison..... LINK TO RAPS TICKET PRICING

look at the 'cost per game' of the seats. The cheapest is $21 and comparable to our cheap seats,
but the reds at BMO would only get you a 'corner endzone' for the Raps.

(and I know my 223 seats are WAY better than a 'corner endzone' seat at the acc)

    Default 12 pm time slot

Hey guys, an update for 12 pm... I relocated one of two pairs of seats but had to go dark grey to be on the east side in 108. There was one last pair at the top of 110, but they went when i was there. There are singles scattered around the south-east end, but if you want a pair, you're looking at 109 or farther north. Nothing really available in pairs or more 110 and south. There is a lot of stuff still available on the west side, but I really didn't pay a lot of attention. There are 600 available and we were told that even the people with Thursday time slots would have 600 available to them, it's just a question of where. Best of luck and let's hope that the next 5 months go by like a flash.

    just came back from BMO.

    Nothing in 112 and 113. Single in 114. 8 left in 127.

I have the best relocation possible. pekduck has a pair in 111. I had a single in 221. I relocated to the seat right next to him! One more loud mouth in 111.
