DICHIOOOOOOOOOOO!
DICHIOOOOOOOOOOO!
DANNY DICHIOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
The man brought donuts.
DONUTS!
Classiest Toronto Athlete Ever. Hands down. No competition. Just don't even try to compare.
Whoever heard of a professional player showing up in the middle of the night to give his fans some donuts?
It's ok RPBLondon, I know how it feels lol. (minus the fact you went to more sessions, but thats besides the point )
Just got back from Joe's and hanging with Parky and Pinky and Celtnick (among others)
Danny D was a gentleman and his donuts were mighty tasty.

24 Donuts - 24th minute....coincidence??
Missed Danny. I was on banner time (=30mins late) but the pints after was good times too.
and I got the best donut.
FORMER FULL TIME KOOL-AID DRINKER
It made the whole event, from painting to folding it up last night, an amazing event with Danny showing up last night.
Fantastic....all worth while.
Thanks for a terrific Team to be with.
Thanks to everyone who came out last night. I knew it would be wet and dirty work and you guys made it seem easy.
Unbelievable to see Danny drop in.
yeah, it was actually pretty easy once we got all the water (gallons) out of the thing.
side note: I talked with a buddy who works at the EX place and if we need a forklift.... it's ours!

After a bit of a boondoggle start. we got our act together and heaved-ho the mother of all banners out to the parking lot through Gate 3 and spread it out for one last look. There, in the misty shadows of a street lamp, appears a looming figure with a gleaming dome. Simply the classiest sports figure ever (with his 2 older sons in tow and donuts)...(in retrospect, probably a good choice not to have taken the scissors to the banner inside...wouldn't have looked too good in front of the man.) At one point, he bent down as if to want to help move it and I waved him off (politely) as if to say, no, this banner was in honor of you and we'll take care of it.
Great to meet some familiar faces...probably one of the more "unusual" ways to have spent the evening. Glad we can look forward to reusing the banner in new, creative ways in the future...
my eyes are watery.
pure class.
still remember the week he showed up in T.O........i saw him at ikea with his family and thought wow, that guy ooozes Legend in the making.
p.s
that man sure loves his kids. Great role model
we would have had 2 unmanageable piles instead of 1.
I showed up last night pretty steamed. Why wasn't this done on sunday?
I guess oversights happen, and in the end all that matters is that the work gets done.
And I think I can speak for everyone in saying that we all left with a great feeling
of accomplishment. This banner was about guts and glory. Everyone got to share in the the glory....
but those of you who are the guts know that we got way more out of it than everyone else.
my thanks to all of you

Thanks Mike. Can you send me the beer pic?
^^ getting maximum exposure for the pics, eh Parky?
That's allowed... they're epic!
wow...just fucking wow.....
The best would have been if we had cut it up into pieces as was first discussed.
Then we could watch Al-Mo cry.
