which is why I used it as my example!

The standard method of making large banners (griding or projecting, then painting) wouldn't work like traditional piece. What I think we should look for is just a killer script lettering with good effects.

^ this is a bad example, but something like that (solid font with a drop shadow and white border etc) would work really well for a banner

^ just make the skull yellow and black!

That ChivasUSA banner is pretty big too, mentioned in the comments.

I wonder if that was supporter produced though?

I just watched it. Looks 'around' the same size.

I know that the Chicago Megabandera was bigger though.

the worst part - we were all in socks because we didn't want to track water on to the banner.
Add the fact that the water was highway run off..... (filled with oil, grime and gas).

I hope everyone washed in between their toes when they got home.

When I saw the size of the banner I had a bit of guilt hit me for not helping and only donating 20 bucks, like that was enough paint for maybe one letter. . THE THING IS FUCKING HUGE. You guys did well.

It was crazy. We knew the weather was coming, but that storm came in a flash. One second everything was calm, the next second I was leaping on to the banner so it didn't blow away.

I assume you want to do that @ the 20 minute mark of the game? Because the stadium (and southend to a certain extent) is NEVER full @ the anthems.

EDIT: We'll get there. But it will take some time.

It was plain miserable after the Backyardaggins concert (great show, by the way, I don't know what I would have done had I missed that. . . ) but I did not realize how violent it was when it first rolled in.
