    Default Montreal's coach steps down

    MONTREAL- Nick De Santis has stepped down as coach of the struggling Montreal Impact soccer team.

    De Santis now becomes the team's technical director.
    At a press conference at the Saputo Stadium at noon today, John Limniatis was named the new coach of the Impact.


    Limniatis is a former Impact player who recently has been a coach and technical director with the Lac St. Louis Soccer Association.

    good news, they have an ex USL player as coach.

    Good to hear they got rid of the coach, but i'm not so soccer about the new choice.

    They probably have the best up and coming coach in Canada right now running their farm team (Trios Rivier Attack). Guy has his UEFA license and is very well respected. too bad he won't get a shot.

    I know that they are strugling but I though that De Santis was doing pretty good with them.
