Default Cunningham named MLS player of the month

    http://www.soccerbyives.net/soccer_b...the-month.html

FC Dallas forward Jeff Cunningham was voted MLS player of the month for September after his seven goals and three assists helped FC Dallas post a 3-1-1 record during the month.
Cunningham edged out a group of players including Shalrie Joseph, Josh Wolff and Eddie Gaven.
The award is the second player of the month honor of Cunningham's career. He was named player of the month of August, 2006 while with Real Salt Lake.

I'm debating which former TFC player I hate the most... Cunningham or Carlos Ruiz... on thing is for sure I'm so glad both are gone!

I think thats an easy one to answer.. Ruiz by far the most lamest of the two .. the fat basterd was just trying to collect a check till seasons end.. As for Cunningham he in my opinion the pressure got to him and lost his touch...
Toronto is not an easy city to play for.. We expect the best of all players and this years rendition of cunningham has got to be barrett for me.. Anyone in tfc teach these guys about pressure and some yoga to cool the mind..

This is the Cunningham I will always remember:

The one who cost us the Canadian Championship last year. Yes, something was obviously wrong, and it's nice for him that he's in a better place for him. However, he was on an ice-cold streak while he was here, and by the end wasn't putting in the effort.

Ruiz only played 5 games with TFC.. so I can't hate him as much as Cunningham. Ruiz was barely here, then gone.

We had to suffer through Cunningham's failures over two separate seasons...

maybe a picture of him throwing his hissy fit when he fucked up his own chance in vancouver would be a better picture.

    Guys...

FUCK Cunningham. Fuck him in his stupid fucking mouth. Fuck him in his stupid fucking ear. Pluck out his stupid fucking eyes and fuck him in both holes.

I am officially fed the fuck up with all this talk of Cunningham. He can go chew on my ballsack for all I care. At the end of the day, the guy didn't play worth shit for Toronto.

Fuck him. If I had my way, he's name would be banned from these boards. Actually, let's just make it an insult.

"Oh dude, you were so wasted at the party last night. You acted like a fucking Cunningham"

    or:

"Hey man, what's with the black eye?"
"Some Cunningham sucker-punched me walking home from the bar."

Still, it makes you hope Barrett is seeing this and thinking about asking to get out of his contract so he can go somewhere to not suck...

I'm with Cash. His whiff on that sitter vs. Montreal, that basically cost us the NCC, was the last straw.

I don't care how good he has been for another team. He never tried here.

I guess everyone has forgotten 'The Fast and the Furious' in the first year of TFC. I think if Dichio and Cunningham could have stayed healthy, this franchise would have had a lot different trajectory. That was a great pair when they were on. Cunningham got hurt then we all know the rest when he tried to come back.

    Default According to Goal.com

Was anyone surprised to see the 3rd Degree report that stated Jeff Cunningham has an incentive clause in his contract tied to his goal production? Cunningham could see his contract for next year renewed automatically should he reach a certain scoring threshold, according to the report.
"Failure simply isn't an option at this stage. TFC pushed its chips to the middle of the table when it splurged on Bradley and Defoe and reinforced its bet by making savvy acquisitions elsewhere. This collection of players is capable of delivering on the promises made during the close season. There are no more excuses available for TFC. Only success will continue the process of atoning for the past and establishing a higher standard for the future." FOX Sports

    another cunningham bitchfest?

who cares? nobody here likes him. why bother caring about what he's doing in Dallas. i don't care. he pissed me off in the past, but i'm not pissed that he's player of the week. i'm just glad he's not here where he didn't contribute.

are we gonna get the same threads popping up when chad eventually gets shipped off and scores more?
