Default It's Called Football - Throwing snowballs at Santa Claus

Philadelphia Union President Tom Veit joins It's Called Football to discuss the supporter's culture they're creating, some of the hurdles they still face with their stadium and drops the news of a major announcement for their Academy.

We also get into Toronto's draw with Chicago, what that means for the playoff race, the grass to BMO vote and the bizarre upsets from around the MLS.
All that and Duane offers a deal with Chad Barrett to avoid wearing a dress.

btw.. the legend of philly fans throwing snowballs at santa is a little overblown. this was during an era when the team was run by one of the WORST owners (maybe worse than MLSE) and the santa claus was in a drunken stupor. it was a total embarrassment, and the fans were sick of it.

Good little bit from Tom Veit on allocating seats for away support. Great question to ask and an even better response

yeah, as he said, with his experience with American college football he knows how much traveling fans can be as much of the atmosphere in the stadium ... when away fans show up and bring it, it brings out the best of the home supporters

I wouldn't be jealous. I like the idea and that someone is doing it. They could set a trend that catches on with the rest of the clubs...well one can hope.
