Default Big Props to Al-Mo and the Banner Team

This is probably the sexiest banner of the year....in a year where the banner team has completley outdone themselves.

Their tireless work needs to be recognized.

Friends...we need to recognize the work these people have been doing all year long. And most especially, when they ask for help, we need to start giving it.

These banners do not produce themselves. The team puts lots of hard work and time into these projects, and they do a damned good job.

When we see these guys, we should thank them for the work they do. And when they ask for help...I'd like to see more of us step up, especially with the upcoming Dichio banner. Most of us saw this right?

We need to make sure this is the greatest project TFC supporters have taken part in. We owe it to Danny for what he has given us and continues to give.

I am proud of the work our fellow RPB are doing. This lowly soldier salutes you.

Agree completely. The banner was fantastic guys. I'm sure Dichio loved it.

Props for AL-MO to getting this one off the ground quickly and being able to turn it around quickly.

From the first post on September 4th to getting it done a week later... shows how far the team has come given that in the past smaller banners took longer to do.

It's going to keep getting better and bigger from here on end.

I don't know exactly where the image originally came from, but its a low res image that Flatpicker used on our Dichio scarf.

It made it easy to trace and paint.

Thanks to everyone who came out Thursday and helped finish it yesterday morning.

    as I posted elshwere:

I came home yesterday and my wife said:

"That banner looked really good! I liked it"

She's never ever said something like that about any of our banners...

and she didn't believe that we painted the face ourselves lol

The fact that you guys painted that and that it's not printed makes it 100x better. That is freaking awesome.

Yeah it was great. Don't think the people up in 113 liked it too much though.

Oh and BIG THANKS to Josh (Drek) who was the other on holding that banner yesterday.

When flags/banners start getting above 10 ft, they become real bastards to hold/fly.

As much as wind is a factor @ BMO, it is still somewhat sheltered which helped out alot.

Banners like this...and the bigger one we are doing...are good examples of reasons why I joined this group. Yeah, sometimes I disagree with some of the corners of this group since we are so big, nobody is ever going to agree 100% of the time. But when we get together to do something, nobody in the stadium can match us. Without a group like RPB, we wouldn't have a fraction of the success we have had in the stands. We need to be proud of that and ignore the naysayers.
