    Default Nice Jorge Flores Article in the NY Times

    A (relative) rags to riches story about teen Chivas midfielder Jorge Flores, that also brings up some questions about the serious issues regarding development of football talent pools in the US- worth a look, and nice to see that the issue is receiving some exposure in such a large media outlet.

    To describe how Jorge Flores ended up here — an unknown teenager traveling to South America and Europe to play for his country after emerging quite literally from a cast of thousands to win a tryout with Chivas USA — a word is worth a thousand pictures. Sueño...

    Good article.

    Chivas needs to move to San Diego. That way they could relaunch with a much more refined marketing approach. Playing out of Home Depot is just not viable for them.
