    Post Today’s News, Friday ,Jun.06

    Good morning
Not so many TFC news today. Most of the news are about Euro 08.

Reds hope to stifle Dynamo again

Toronto FC looks to remain unbeaten all-time against Dynamo

    HOUSTON DYNAMO vs. TORONTO FC
    ROBERTSON STADIUM, Houston, Texas
    June 8, 2008 | 7:30 p.m. CT (Ch. 55/43; TheScore)

Both coming off solid home victories in their last matches, the Houston Dynamo play host to Toronto FC on Sunday evening at Robertson Stadium. The Dynamo defeated the New York Red Bulls last Saturday, while TFC knocked off the LA Galaxy. The Dynamo were supposed to have played D.C. United at midweek, only for that game to be postponed. TFC is a rare team that had success against Houston last year, defeating the Dynamo in Toronto and gaining a scoreless draw in their meeting in the Bayou City.

    TORONTO FC
Toronto FC ran its home unbeaten streak to six games with a 2-0 win against the Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday afternoon at BMO Field. The Reds enter the week with 17 points from 10 games, now sitting in fourth place in the Eastern Conference, two points behind the Columbus Crew and Chicago Fire and five ahead of the New York Red Bulls.

    Sorry to

But yeah, after that interview. JDG says he is speaking for pretty much the whole team that they don't want to play a BMO and that the team really pushed for playing in Montreal because of the pitch.

Fuck... If Montreal can have "Beautiful bowling green" turf as Nigel put it, so can fucking Toronto.

Yes I know... dead horse...... but I'm going to keep beating that bitch until it bleeds green grass.

Yeah because they rent out the BMO field they dont want to put real grass on ( Salesrep told me), BUt hopefully soon enough give our wonderful team the grass they deserve.

Does that make them "Bush league?"
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto

I don't see what the problem is with bringing in grass on gameday and then keeping the turf the rest of the time. That way everyone is happy!

Then again don't most teams practice on turf most of the time anyways?

i think that im beginning to get convinced about the turf to grass thing.

ive always been on the turf side. money, we dont own the stadium and all that.

but this is MLSE. they are a major player in this city. im sure they have some sort of pull with the city to get this changed
