Most Riverplate fans are calling us a mediocre MLS side... and some are laughing at us that we will have Pablo Vitti on the field:

The only reason why DeRo and Guevara are playing is that our roster for this game is somewhat depleted (I don't think Barrett will play, he'll cramp up). I don't know if Sanyang is egilible to play in this game. Gerba may get a run out later in the game.

I’m pretty psyched for this match. I’m looking forward to seeing some of the team’s “squad players” (Galla, Gomez, OBW) get some playing time. Sanyang played in the Carolina Cup games, so I think he should be able to play.

Use this as a reserve game. Dichio can stay in since he's barely played lately. Wynne too... he didn't play much on that run with the USA.
But I'd like to see De Ro and Guevara in civilian clothes and rested and ready to go against Columbus.

haha. the river plate fans are trying to hype themselves up cuz they have been brutal as of late. they are calling vitti a "muerto" meanwhile their whole team are a bunch of "muertos"

somebody should go with a banner saying "YO TE VI ULTIMO" (I SAW YOU IN LAST). in last years apertura tourney they finished dead last. haha. and they are supposed to be the 2nd biggest team in argentina. haha.

their fans are pathetic. even one of their own players, Oscar Ahumada, spoke out about their lack of support in big games. his exact words were "SILENCIO ATROZ" (ATROCIOUS SILENCE).

TFC fans will show them. i'm sure there will be some boca juniors fans there on wednesday throwing their support behind TFC.

I hope they don't try too hard. There are a lot of very important games coming up so there is no need to waste energy and risk getting injured for a meaningless friendly.
Hopefully White gets some play time to test out how he feels though.

I know a game is a game, you play to win, and want to respect the Logo, the city, and the fans - but anyone with any kind of nagging injury, that is injury prone, that fights fatigure to do age, plays 90-minutes hard in a running position shouldn't play this game...

Its tough, it hurts, and I hate to lose like most people, but you must 'manage' your players and team for what is important...

We're on the edge of the playoff picture, we're playing a conference opponent and a win is NEEDED... Plus, winning it wins a (somewhat meaningless yes) inter-competition with a rival...

I'd like to see the kids, and the future go out there, get their moment in the sun, and do a service to the senior team of giving them the rest they need for the Columbus match a few days later...
