Okay I kind of lied about the no surprises. One could easily consider Greg Sutton or Amado Guevara a surprise but we all know the Toronto fans enjoy stuffing any ballots that come their way when they have a player or two on it.
    Hah, duh.

I'm glad we have 3 but does Mo Edu really deserve recognition for playing so poorly this season? What about our defence also?!??

although it would be nice to see our players being recognized like this but i kind of actually hope none of them plays, because if someone gets hurt then that would just piss me off.

Sutton was our pick. Guevara could have been a lot of people, he has been here longer than we have. Edu MUST have been picked by others -- his RotY award probably bought him a few votes. If we really stuffed the boxes Brennan would be on there.

i guess edu's selection to the US team has helped him along.

Don't under estimate the cult of Greg Sutton. Just because Jimmy B isn't up there doesn't necessarily mean there hasn't been ballet stuffing on our end.

    Check it out!

Greg Sutton, Marvel Wynne, Marco Velez, Tyrone Marshall, Jim Brennan, Amado Guevara, and Danny Dichio LEADERS IN FAN VOTING FOR MLS ALL STAR GAME.
Cool. While your players wear themselves out trying to prove a point against a mid to bottom table Premier League team (and likely get worn out and injured in the process) DC and Houston players will be resting and preparing to top the table like last year....and 2006....

We also led fan voting last year in a couple positions, and ended up with one player on the team, its not the be all and end all of roster selection. The ultimate source of MLS history and how it relates to DC should know this.

Dude, I think your presence here is largely accepted as positive. Start trolling and I'm pretty sure this is not a place you're going to want to be.
