I dunno about the whole cap arguement as long as the team is good I don't think the mexican teams will rollover us MLS teams have won before

I hate to say it - we need the cap. Case and point: the NASL model. Lots of reasons why that failed, but too rapid of expansion and astronomical salaries that could not be supported by the smaller market teams.
didnt say rid the CAP!!.....but a cap of $5million per team would do wonders for this league!
We need to be able to attract some younger tallent....25yrs range...with a few extra miliion for each team to spend...that makes it possible

And... add 2 more DP slots per team. Keeping in mind that sometimes the difference between 400K and 600K might be enough to sign some quality players (i.e. Kiki)
Also, they have to raise the floor for DEV players... 12 and 17K? Ridiculous. Still, they should not count against the new cap number though whatever that may be.
