    Post Power Rankings: Week 11

    Power Rankings: Week 11
Consistency developing in rankings as MLS season reaches one-third mark

Since the debut of the MLSnet.com Power Rankings, Chivas USA have sat comfortably atop the balloting, week after week. Come one week from now, that may not be the case. Chivas USA host the Chicago Fire in primetime on Thursday night (10:30 p.m. ET; ESPN2), with the unofficial crown of the first third of the season going to the victor.
It's unquestionably the biggest match of the young season, and perhaps an MLS Cup 2009 preview. The Red-and-White stormed out of the gates, using impressive team cohesion and MLS's stingiest defense to take a commanding lead atop the overall standings.

6 The Reds were unlucky losers in this week's Power Rankings, but they were quite impressive in taking apart New England on Saturday.
Amado Guevara and Dwayne De Rosario were the heroes, yet again, but don't overlook the play of Danny Dichio, who set up a pair of scores in his return to the Toronto starting unit.

    how so?

we moved up from 7th to 6th. Technically 'losers' suffer a 'loss', and we had a gain. Who writes this shit?

also, how is it week 11 for the MLS but week 10 for SBI?

I'm still trying to decipher what it is to be an “unlucky loser”?! “Unlucky loser” kinda sounds like an oxymoron to me, no?

Like, “she’s pretty ugly”, or “that’s a definite maybe”, or "quick, act natural" kinda thing?

It's badwriterspeak for "got the short end of the power poll this week."
