    Cummins waiting on Serioux fitness
    Reds defender missed Vancouver match

Toronto FC coach Chris Cummins is waiting on the fitness of Adrian Serioux before deciding on the line-up to face D.C. United at RFK Stadium on Saturday night (kick off 7:30 p.m. live on Rogers Sportsnet). Serioux missed the 1-0 win over Vancouver Whitecaps in the opening game of the Nutrilite Canadian Championship on Wednesday and has been receiving treatment as he fights to recover in time for the clash in Washington.

Nana was good last match, he'll play more in the future, I'm sure, but I would take Serioux over him. Serioux has great clearing ability, especially with headers.

Never been a better time for Serioux to take a rest. Look forward to having him back but last game showed this back line is ready for a bigger test.

Can't wait for the battle for the East!

^^^ JDG likes anything with a heartbeat and a vagina. Ok, maybe I'm being a little hard on him. The heartbeat isn't that important.

Default Reds face latest strong side in D.C. United

Reds face latest strong side in D.C. United
By Mark Polishuk / MLSnet.com Staff

TORONTO -- Two of the hottest teams in Major League Soccer meet on Saturday at RFK Stadium in what is just the latest in a string of matches for Toronto FC against a league power. The Reds' hot streak, however, has coincided with his stretch against top competition, leaving the club confident that it will be able to get a good result against Eastern Conference leaders D.C. United.

"Every week we seem to be playing the top of the table, it's weird," said midfielder Carl Robinson. "We're going in confident after [Wednesday's] performance and hopefully it'll be a good game and the best team will come out on top."

If they beat DC...I think it would pretty much put us on the path to the playoffs. They would have to majorly crap the bed to miss it. (Well...it's not unheard of, look what happened last year...but SURELY it won't happen two years in a row?)

    Default Game guide is up.

Not that the formations and other info is always acurate as each side tries to mislead the other before game time - but it does look interesting.

Nana, Frie, RR are in and no Serioux or Vitti in the start up.
