James played very well for his first MLS game. Him and Ricketts played great.

It's gotta be James or Ricketts.

I say James for sentimental reasons.

I would have to say that Ricketts and Edu filled in admirably for Guevara and Robert as attacking midfielders today and had the greatest overall impact on the match. James was also very composed in his debut...

Edu without a doubt!, I didnt miss robinsons boring side passes that always end up on the feet of the other team. Shit if it was up to me I would say the whole team, that by far was the best showing i thought all year. Those guys played like they have been playing together for a while. So many near goals, so other than finishing 100% that was pure awesome!!!

I've never said this before in my life, but clearly Cunny was the MOM. At times he sort of showed his lazy side, but when it came down to it he was the most dangerous player on the pitch today. Ricketts had a strong game too - his best for us so far.

I thought Cunny was decent today. He scored and that's the bottom line, but lets remember that LAG were truly awful. But great job today of playing like a team and winning a game they should win. 1 more win til we reach last years total

Ricketts was a thorn in LA's side.. he was causing them loads of trouble.. he still needs to work on his finishing.. so does Edu.. Some shot practice would really do Edu good.

I voted Ricketts but almost voted Velez. Velez won every ball at the back that he saw. I've never seen a guy go from "disaster" to "rock" in such a short time.

    Ricketts

Edu, James and Smith all had great games but Ricketts was dangerous all game and kept the Failaxy on their back foot every time he came at them.

Ricketts looked grade 'a' on a field full on grade 'b' players. That one move, where he flipped the ball backwards over his head, then spun round the defender and almost put cunningham in was pure Scillaci.

No kidding! My crow tastes much better with this salt! I wanted Braz back after watching Velez during the Charleston Cup. He was terrible.

Braz can continue to suck on my ball sack now though….Velez is the man.

It was a great team effrot. Edu, Ricketts, Velez, James, Brennan, stuck out. But the whole team was great, I do think that if you have to pick one Edu stuck the tone of the game. Great combination between defence and attack. We dominated all game long. I waw really happy with our game today. To think we are without so many of our regulars, and yet we dominated.

    Ricketts was wicked.
    And James' goal was magic.

But I think Smith's tenacity and aggressiveness kept putting off the Galaxy, I think this was a great game on his part, I just wish he bagged that goal.
