On a side note, Messing also has an abysmal record at picking teams so far this year, so I would temper his predictions.

Like Messing says, this would be his DREAM final, I know that he says prediction also afterwards, but I think this is more just a case of him being influenced by who he'd like to see. Anyone that wants to see TFC in the final gets my nod of approval.

Good catch....slight keyboard mishap

Anyway, the scope of the question was definately what his pre-mature prdiction was but still interesting. Messing tends to be a band wagon jumper so to speak, and tends to think what ever team is playing well at the time will make it all the way.
