Cant say i have confidence that we will, we look too weak after that game in Montreal and i dont think we will look much better here, especially if we play 4-4-2.
    God i hope im wrong.

Hopeful, but higly doubtful. We are using an untested line up. We have lost most of our offensive punch in midfield. Can ricketts be enough in the middle?

A lot rides on Cunny being fired up for this one. He has a chance to prove something here to either Carver or his next club. Also if Harmse starts a lot rides on him showing some restraint and not getting carded out of this one. Wouldnt be surprised if another Red to Harmse was the end of his run here (depending on the circumstances).

I think you are right. Cunningham will make or break this game for us.

I said no. It's a poll, therefore I'm trying for realism, not what I hope will happen.

Is beckham playing or in Trini? Big issue. Is landycakes playin g or in spain?

IF those two guys are both gone, we have as much chance as LA. If either of them is playing, we're very depleted and could be in trouble.

Either way, our issue isn't going to be just Cunny, it's going to be workrate as a whole which, outside of maybe Jimmy B and Laurent Robert, has been missing horribly in the last two games.

On the streak, before Carver and Jimmy B started talking about how confident everyone was, they were playing liek their futures depended on it, closing guys down immediately, hurrying their men, running into space and finding channels.

We've been on the back foot for two straight games and it has to stop or we'll begin sliding.

And Sutton isn't in net to shut down Landycakes.
Though I would love if Edwards re-enacted this pic on saturday.

I have very little confidence to be honest. Without Amado, we have few attacking options. This is my starting XI:

    -----------Edwards------------
    Wynne--Velez--Marshall--Brennan
    Ricketts--Edu--Tebily--Dunivant
    -----Dichio-------Cunningham

If Dichio is injured, Smith goes in. Our only chance is to shut down Donovan in the middle (unlikely) and hope Cunningham gets out of his rut. Speed can kill LA, so look for smith to come on for Dichio early in the second if Dichio can even start, and a lot of long balls being sent up using the "boot and pray" method.

I would switch Brennan and Tebily.. Tebily is a natural defender, Jimmy is a natural MF.

Just cause hes playing back, and well, it seems most poople lost sight Jimmy is a mf lol.. our defense is decnet enough with Tebily, Velez, Marshall and Wynne.. our mid is ok with Jimmy, Edu, Ricketts and Dunivent and Dichio or Smith with Cunny will be alright.. its not the end of the world here.. and LAs defense is awerful.

Even missing those starters, we're still a better team than the Beckham less galaxy.

On paper I give this game to LA.

We are missing to many regulars due to international duties (Guevera, Sutton, Valez), suspension (Robert) and injuries (Marshall and perhaps Dichio).

Add to this the fact that the team hasn't looked good the past 2 games. This could be a tough day at the pitch for us.

The two things we have going for us is the home crowd and the projected bad weather. The weather should affect the play of both teams and it will probaly be a slow played game. I'm predicting a 0-0 game or a 1-0 game (hopefully in our favour)

Agreed with Giambac (which is unusual for me).
If a goal is had, its going to be sloppy as all fuck (much like Dichios goal against DC when we played at home).

That type of goal, btw, can come from either end.
Dont forget LA will have Donocunt and Ruiz (who dives like a 5$ whore) and can both score...

that only looked sloppy, in fact it was a well fought out disposession followed by a clinical finish,

I promise I wont tell him you thought it was sloppy though.

True that, although it was not a rocket flying in from 30 yards, Dichio could of easily gone to ground looking for the penalty. To his credit he stuck with the play and got the final touch on it, a game winning play!

Evidently i was wrong and right at the sametime.
We won (and amazing win in which we dominated play, which makes me wrong).
Im right cuz we did it as a 4-5-1 (or 4-2-3-1 if ya wanna get particular)

    We didn't play a 4-5-1

    We played a 4-4-2

Smith and Cunningham played up front as forwards with Dunivant, Edu, Harmse and Ricketts in the midfield.

Smith was not up front with Cunny, this can be assured, he was playing slightly behind, he was chasing the ball all the way back whereas Cunny was floating up front waiting for balls. Arguably it was 4-4-1-1.
