Default Dichio supports Childhood Cancer Foundation Charity fundraiser

Just thought I'd let everyone know about a big upcoming fund raiser for the Childhood Cancer Foundation that Danny Dichio has volunteered to support. He has really stepped up for this cause and it would be great if we could return this support!

The event is called Kick, Cut, Care and consists of football related games and challenges devised by Danny and a dare from Danny to shave your head, all to raise money for this important charity. He will be there in person to run the drills and will bring other players from TFC.

It's being held at Adventure Valley at Leslie/Steeles on Sunday May 24th from 11am to 3pm.

All the details can be found at:

If you or your kids or even better your kids soccer team want to get involved, this event is open to anyone willing to raise pledges for the charity.

In the spirit of full disclosure, my involvement in this event is that my wife has run fund raising events through work for this charity and got to know the director of marketing. My son's team is going to take part and he is going to get his head shaved!

    Thanks!

    Guys

This event is happening this Sunday. Dichio will be there along with other TFC players and TFC TV. So far they have raised over $27k and are well on track to meet the target of $30k.

If anyone wants to come by and take part in this fun day, you're more than welcome!

    Thanks!

I was at this yesterday, it was a good event. They made 40,000+ and looks like a ton of kids had a good time. Danny was there being very involved, running drills and scrimmages with kids. Nana was there helping out with a PR lady. And Robbo stopped by with the family.
