Asked why he feels good about his team going into tonight's game in Dallas, Toronto FC coach John Carver pauses and then smiles.
"The greatest confidence going into the game is we've got four points on the road," Carver told reporters before the team left for Texas.
Given TFC's dismal road record coming into this season – 4-21-5 in its first two years of existence – it's little wonder they feel good about themselves after a win and a tie in two games away from BMO Field.

Huge game today. I've got high hopes, but cautious too. Counting on DeRo to finish again and on Barrett to finally end the drought. Next week looks tough against Chivas on Wednesday, though. They made pretty short work of the Sounders.
