I feel sorry for the lack of activity in this thread and this posting will probably not do much to help it but here goes.
Is anyone else irritated by the stadium announcer telling us what the score is at half and full time. Maybe I'm over sensitive but I think it's an insult to my intelligence. It gives me the impression that the power's that be need to tell us just in case we couldn't work it out for ourselves.

Oh this got me going ... When planning stadium expansion. Think washroom, concession and beer layout! I have 15 mins to take a leak, buy another beer and potentially some more food ... Make it skippy!
Plan for a MASSIVE WASHROOM with an Entrance on one side and an Exit on the other side for proper traffic flow. Place the concession right outside the Exit door and the beer right next to that! If you've ever been to the Bell Centre in Montreal you'll know what I'm talking about when it comes to good stadium planning near the Molson Ex section.
I have 15 mins at half time for you to maximize my spend ... Make me spend it! If it takes me 15-20 mins to take a leak ... I'm not spending any extra money to increase F&B revenues.

clearly the architects didn't really give much thought to the nature of a soccer game. They built concessions and washrooms without consideration for the unique nature of the sport, particularly the fact there's just 1 break and 20000 people try to get to the pisser.
If BMO was a baseball stadium, it'd be fine, since people come and go at even times.
