Alright, it's not really his league, but he's sponsoring it.

Instead of a one-day event, this is a 7 v 7 league, with 17 games guaranteed.

To be honest, I'm not really sure about Danny's involvement, but I'm going to ask him and see what's what.

Okay, so I just got the email in and yes, he's sponsoring the league, and he will 'be there on certain occasions'

In particular, he will be involved personally with the play-offs and finals.

So apparently this is being put on by the Thornhill Soccer club. And the matches are being played right behind where I used to live. Too bad this isn't 10 years ago... I may still consider it - it's not that far
