Why is BMO not on Google Earth?!?

I moved from Toronto to Vancouver last fall and am sad not to be at the home opener. I miss BMO field. So for a bit of nostalgia, I thought I'd open up Google Earth and take a virtual walk from the King West and Dufferin street car stop, down Dufferin, across the tracks, into the Ex, and over to BMO Field....

Except that the f'in sat photo is from, like, the year 2000. There is no BMO Field. WTF?

2005, actually...says so right on Google Earth.

This would be a big ol' shrug from me. Not really important at all.

Microsoft live search aerial maps has BMO.

I've seen these pics before. You can still see the old exhibition stadium outlines in the parking lot.

Mostly because I'm not sure why it would matter that it's not on Google Earth. At least, not sure why it would warrant a "why the f*ing bleep" thread title...

BMO is there on Google Earth in the Historical images. The default imagine is not the most recent ones.

Two things I notice..

Look how trodden down the turf is.

From those imgs it's pretty clear why they can't build a stand in the North end and why you can't connect the East with the South.

Fake or not, trodden or not, our pitch still looks better than this:

Besides the crappy look of that pitch, the fact that Saputo Stadium is up on Google Maps while BMO Field is not is a little bit puzzling.
