Hey, don't discount it. I was at the open Ottawa Fury-NY Cosmos game at TD Place and they put the 15 Cosmos supporters (and their drum) that made the trek on the North side of the stadium underneath the roof halfway up the stands. They drowned out the 100 Fury supporters that had no roof on the south side, even though the Bytown Boys were next to the field.Originally Posted by Qman

Visiting support is pretty good for the teams that are within reasonable driving distance....much more than 10. I am assuming you never really paid attention if you do go to games at the stadium. Roof makes a big difference to make a small group sound bigger. They need to move them away from the east stand to the north without the roof. Question is how do we convince TFC FO people of that...
Maybe getting embarrassed by away support will get more people to make noise for the team
Invite says 5PM to 7PM. I guess we are not invited for the streamed event at 3PM. Don't think you have to bump up your schedule if they are not letting us in until probably close to 5PM....unless I am missing something here or misread something. If they show all the details at 3PM I am not sure what the point is of me driving downtown tonight is...

My theory is that they will do a double thing like the Bradley/Defoe presser. A legit one for the cameras and media at 3pm and then a louder, dumber one at 5pm for the regular folks to enjoy.

I actually took a few first timers to the game this sunday and both of them though bitchy was amazing. "Is it trained, or does it ever fuck off for extended periods of time when it's supposed to be working?"

There's just something about forced relocation that doesn't sit with some people. This isn't my opinion btw but an ongoing debate and convo within that SG up there. Good folk that have a future of their own to plan. I get along with them and wish them luck but I wouldn't want to make decisions for them.

Larry Tanenbaum describing the stadium to Oso, Henry, Caldwell, & DeRo. Of those 4, I think only Henry & Oso will see the new roof completed and be on this team. Can't see Caldwell and DeRo being here for 2016.
