I'll wait for confirmation but I am not entirely shocked.
Cue the conspiracy theorists.
Im on my mobile so im not sure how to post a link but there's an bizarre rendering of bmo field seen in the Ontario Place renovation renderings released today. Its basically bmo now but without the north end and a second deck on the east.
wow thats a pretty big second deck.
If that's the roof we are getting ... why even do it. f*cking crap.
Can't really see the north end.
Its probably some "boiler plate" design they just inserted.
Second deck can't be that big, they have stated they will only go out 95 ft.
Roof is supposed to be english style functional to protect the fans from the weather of the lake in the fall, this looks just cosmetic.
Ya I think that is more a design Ontario Place, not related to BMO directly.
Edit
yep. Ontario Place, nothing to do with BMO directly.

Stadium, shmadium.
All my great memories of Ontario Place revolve around quart bottles of Ex and 50 at Zum Rhein and Max Webster at the Forum. Bring those good times back.
And my mullet.
^ CFNY days with a rotating stage … there or Molson Park… is that dating myself?
hopefully its a mini version of this
It was one of the stadiums used in Brazil in Cuiaba
Looks like there is a mould issue at BMO
http://app.toronto.ca/tmmis/viewAgen...em=2014.BU56.1
The MOLD issue at BMO is not related to MOULD...
MOLD is found on stuff like old bread while MOULD is used to construct a building...
It is UK vs American Spelling.
Mold (a fungus) and Mold (a forming tool) is the same word in the US. Mould and Mould are the UK spelling.
In Canada we tend to us Mold for both most often, but if you have a older person, or a UK Expat writting the report, or their spell check was set to UK english it could mean either.
in this case mould is a fungus, the backgrounder makes that clear
while BMO Field was being prepared for season open on March 22, 2014, mould was discovered in the executive suites and
washrooms. A professional environmental management firm was retained to assess the
extent of the damage and recommend remediation work
It is the best stadium, has a building right up against the stadium right behind 1 net, while the side stands have things like city roads blocking the side stands from expanding out while the stand behind the other net is the biggest stand, as it was built in a baseball shape. This all sounds like issues that can be a pain in the ass for bigger expansion construction, and the fact the original stand is in baseball shape makes you think the views could be really bad, but actually it has created a bad ass looking stadium, with the best atmosphere no doudt. Many stadiums in the UK are franken-stadiums as well as many stadiums are built in heavy densely populated housing neighbourhoods causing stadiums to have a mix of small and big stands or weirdly shaped stands. It adds to the feel of a stadium, rather then the new stadiums that are built with space and even size stands and perfect shapes and designs.
Well on the subject, they aren't all franken-Stadiums, but cool, random, ugly and WTF.
