Looks interesting.
Remember The Man, The Legend, The Goal 5-12-07 and All That #9 Left On The Pitch, Thanks For The Memories !!!
nice....I hope we still have a team to play in it.
I personally really like it. I think it looks very European like
pics are awesome but still don't like no back to roof, feel we will lose sound.
I'd prefer giving the Argos $120M dollars and have them find their own location. This is just going to be another skydome: one size fits everyone (poorly) scenario.
Prices in the north end will have to go down considerably with no roof or new video board it will be hard to justify the price point.
Looks like they keep the north end the same.
We will have to see if the roof stays over the supporters section, unless they don't want to do the the Heritage classic anymore. Only way to expand the stadium to add 10,000 seats is expand into the south end parking lot (not much space on the north end). Hope the roof stays though, because protects everyone from the wind of the lake.
I note that IGF in winnipeg has no back to the roof and the sound reverberates extremely well.
Adding even more seats is going to be very bad for the health of TFC. Looks alright otherwise.
Looks good. I wonder if that's the 40k configuration though, with the temp second deck on the south stand added.
"Coincidentally" an image gets "leaked" in the midst of all these changes.
Not complaining as I've been waiting for a new rendering for some time now but I find it perfect timing all things considered
I'm glad to see how happy the present fans going to games like the improvements.
I'm sure people will show up just to see the place for the first time.
They won't be back unless what's on the pitch improves.
FORMER FULL TIME KOOL-AID DRINKER
From the looking at that picture, it looks like the south stand ain't moving anywhere!
Looks like they got rid of the dugouts from that pic
Seems like the north and south roof will be completely independent from the seating and could raise and lower on big hydraulic hoists on each end. That would put the roof at the same height all the way around the stadium....same height as east and west stands. Then they bring in the extra 5,000 temp seats at each end to sit behind the north and south stands. Brings it to 40k for big events.
Could led end up looking pretty good, but could be better also. I prefer filled in corners but difficult as you have to work with existing structure + CFL is still likely coming...
I cant see a roof on the north end?
Original planning approval was for a roof over all 4 sides - and for all perm seating to be covered.
