Will the Whitecaps knock the BC Lions out of business?
I think the Whitecaps are capable of drawing 30,000 to 40,000 for some games. They will have to open up teh Upper Bowl.

Will the Caps outdraw the BC Lions?
It's no secret that david Braley has lost a lot of money on the BC Lions. Granted attendance and revenue has improved since Wally Buono arrived...
but things can easily head south in a hurry. And I'm not sure Braley is all that happy about having the Whitecaps become a force in BC Place.
I believe the Whitecaps will draw away a lot of children and younger fans that currently go to Lions games. It may not be a massive number, but remember that each kid brings two parents...
so can the Whitecaps knock off the BC Lions? I say yes, but it'll take a lot of hard effort
