hopefully they have an out clause so they can move into a SSS as soon as possible.While MLS feels teams that own and operate their own soccer-specific stadiums have the greatest shot at financial success, the Whitecaps have signed a five-year lease to begin playing at a renovated BC Place Stadium in 2011.
That means the team can't play in its own proposed Vancouver waterfront stadium until 2016.
