Default How Many Would Travel to MLS CUP for TFC?

Just wanted to get a feel for how many fans and supporters will travel to the MLS Cup final to watch our Red's HOIST the trophy this year!?

I personally think we could get around 10,000 people to the final

    your thoughts?

I think 10000 is a bit of a stretch.....but it would be interesting...I for one would be there!

I'd go & would go no matter where it was in North America...

What I couldn't do is go to the semi-final, and then MLS Cup a week later... So, when TFC advances to the semi's I'll be at home, praying for the win, so I have the $$$ to make it to the cup final...

Seattle seems to be the front runner for 2009. I'd definitely go if we made it.

Sadly, I'm not legally allowed to enter the US, soooo, I don't think I'll be making it.

Unless the RPB have some sort of Underground Railroad??

I think the final numbers would depend on the location obviously...but I for one would definetly go no matter where...and I would be bring the smoke too :-)

The Red Bulls are pushing pretty hard to get it. But it depends on when Red Bulls Arena will be completed.

I'd like to but there are too many variables to say right now, employment, value of the dollar, location, cost of flight, etc.

If it was out in Seattle, probably not since I'll be going out there 3 months later for the Olympics

Being that there are not 10,000 people on this site, I don't know how you thought you would get a realistic number?
Based on the thread, I'd say you can confirm 8 people. So my vote goes for 8-10 people.

I'd be there, unless it's at Crew Stadium.

No way would I miss a Cup Final with TFC!

I think if the game is within 10hrs drive, then easily 8,000 or more.

If it's on the west coast... probably less.

I would be there 100%. I think we could get 5-6000 people to a game of that importance.

Location matters, but also timing. The Columbus invasion took a couple of months to build up, and that got 2500 or so.

If we make the final, there will be 1 or two weeks notice. That simply isn't enough time for it to break out amongst the non hardcore supporters I think. 1000 would be impressive.
That's all I'll say about that.

Can't see missing it. You can be damn sure it would not be played in a half empty stadium if Toronto FC were in it.
