Mike Toshack interview on Toronto FC TV

The Reds squad currently includes the experienced Greg Sutton, Brian Edwards and SuperDraft pick Stefan Frei. "It's been great working with them," said Toshack. "The level that we're working at is very high and very competitive. The players are very much aware that there is competition between three quality guys. It is a great situation to have because the competition makes everyone better individually and also makes the team better."

Default Mayor Feels Toronto Will Be A Model To The World In Years To Come

Mayor David Miller's five favourite things to do in Toronto:

    1. Attending a Toronto FC game at BMO Field. "Fantastic. Packed, showing the face of Toronto, people from every background, all on the same team. Not only that, this year when you go to a TFC game you're going to see the team that's going to win the championship of MLS."

MLS 2009 TEAM PREVIEW: Toronto FC

Toronto FC has only been in existence for two seasons, but already the pressure is on the club to achieve. Goal.com's Talha Zaheer explains why playoffs are a necessity for the young club in 2009.

Did you know? Lionel Messi once heralded Vitti as the one closest to him and Aguero in potential, foreseeing a future for him in Europe.

We will never get grass if this is how he spends his time hiding money in his budget

Tell me something if you will:

Why, exactly, do you think the city of Toronto should pay for grass for BMO? Let's see:

Benefits: Toronto FC (owned by MLSE) is happier.

Drawbacks: The city loses a public access field, the city loses a revenue source from that field.

So, tell me again why you think they should be putting money into it? MLSE will not only have to pay for the grass field itself, they will need to give the city some form of recompense for the loss of the field and revenue (possibly in the form of another bubbled field).

You do disservice to the MLS in your assessment as to its quality.
