In regards to patching. Have we ever actually cut out sections of grass and laid new sod down? Perhaps I'm not remembering correctly, but we have always just replaced the whole field when it came...

I think people forget that when we talk about hybrid grass, it effectively is grass. It's something like 98% or 99% actual grass, with artificial strands sewn down into the roots.

AFAIK Heggie and his guys are still plugging away. I can only surmise that the replacement pitch hasn't settled as nicely as we all hoped it would.

I just went by the stadium. With all the scaffolding and seating in the way I couldn't tell if it was us or Colorado practicing (if I had to guess it was Colorado), but the grass looks green as hell....

Speaking of, what exactly was the point of that construction on the north side a few years back. It looked like they were expanding the go station but it's still fenced off??
