Bloody quiet off season given we are going back to rumours from 2018....
You have a point. Lets see how he does. Good for him and Canada, less so for TFC. I feel better about him than Jahkeele. Not sure why but over hype always worries me. Ruins players; Alphonso is...
Yes, I am with you. Mickey mouse.
This. Apparently River also said to their supporters that they would know in two weeks...
Borre saga sounds to me like he has told River that he is definitely leaving and River (a huge club, I saw them play Boca Juniors once and it was mayhem) is desperately trying to get some money out...
hahahahahahahaha
Man, jloome, can you ever write. Have you considered journalism? ;). I agree re Priso, he had a preternatural calm out there. Looked like he had all the time in the world. But "a year in MLS" is...
He'd be very effective in our league. Not Seba effective, but effective.
I'm not persuaded Jahkeele is anywhere near ready for that level of team. I really like Ralph Prisio, he looked like he had been playing MLS for several seasons last year, but I was surprised to see...
two weeks!!!!
Sums it up.
He was a bigger presence than the owners and therefore had to go. Wrongly, then, in my view but it was only a matter of time as he was an over promoter. Fun while it lasted.
To be fair to Curtis, as far as I can tell the Borre rumours haven’t come from TFC mgmt. in fact nothing has come from them except “close to a DP”
That’s what I was trying to say!
How about “disorganized, last minute and fraught with potential disaster?”
Poz is a great signing. Having Poz on our radar - full credit; the fact that they didnt realize they would lose Seba and VV if they didn't resign Seba a year out and as a result being forced to...
what a sh*t show of a transfer
This is a very good analysis - although perhaps MLSE itself owns some of the responsibility. Maybe its too easy to promote the Leafs and it institutionally has forgotten what hard work looks like.
...
We have no way of knowing how good (or not) Borre is, and whether any of this is just maneuvering by River to get $$$$. So far looks like a typical Curtis non deal deal.
More interesting to me is...
Doesn't a mid-block essentially mean that you start pressing in the other teams end, but only within about ten metres their side of centre or so, as opposed to a full press which starts as soon as...
It means that your front three players start to defend against the other team deeper in their end and that therefore the entire team is further up the field as theoretical positions require them to...
Jozy gonna surprise a few here.
Two weeks
Yes. A lot depends on The General too - will he be mobile again? We don't quite have the roster to play a press but it is possible to play it at moments and be effective. I got a good felling from...
