There isn't much footprint to build out south.
But, in the north, you can revamp the whole space and include the Food building. In theory you could build an edifice there as tall as the east and...
My understanding is every venue has to have real grass for these matches.
Not only numbered and assigned
Yeah that piece of...ahem...journalism got discussed in detail on the pitch thread.
Just as it was for the Pan AM Games.
Its BMO for the rest of the year.
I think they would be better to build a full stand on top of that building but I'm not holding my breath as I'm sure the area residents will yell and scream about a 40K stadium.
Doubtful - they used a couple of cranes brought in from Europe via boat to lift it up. Its stuck there.
South end looks fine - the canopy keeps some noise in.
And if they want to expand TFC...
Hmm...can't spot any soccer lines.
That line on the west doesn't look far enough west to be the soccer sideline. Likely the "don't cross this line if you are a player or coach" line. And that...
Seems the pic was taken at 6 am in the morning.
Source and photography credit here - its a photographer who focuses her work on the CFL.

That was speculation, occurred in here, and shown to be false.
The temp signage does enough of the job.
As for the football posts, we have had rugby posts before and will do so again.

The "This is Argos Football" signs under the press box and on the railings look very removable.

I'm surprised you didn't mention the not quite BMO blue peaking out from under the CSA logos surrounding that area...
Soccer Lines came off right after the game yesterday. We'll get a look at...
I suspect this will be inevitable. And, I will say to those who do that sort of stuff the same as I said about those two idiots at the Houston game last year - get the fuck outta my stadium ya...
We TiCat fans for years have gone to Argo games in the Skydome, to the point of being more numerous then Argo fans and havn't done anything to Jays stuff.
This may come as a shock but the idiots...
The casino downtown idea is dead. Its Woodbine or nowhere.

Looks like a proper backdrop venue now.
:)
There are an amazing amount of actual experts on here - you just are the only one vaguely connected to the field.
FWIW, I'm on the definitely not friendly with Bell and Rogers network soon...
Is this where we talk about the lousy wifi at BMO?
This has long been discussed in the Argo thread.
The Skydome is not as good a choice for a Grey Cup or an NHL game as people are not interested in indoor versions of that stuff.
Outdoor...
The better test of the sound will be in a mid week game that is not as busy, like a Voyageurs game. They keep saying the next few weeks are near sell out so who's knows when we'll find out what...
No.
Go back and look at the highlights from last season. Blue high backs.
The years before that were blue tables.
Uh, it did keep the sound in. As for dry, we'll see.
The noise is WAY more then in the past. Maybe you didn't heat it in 113 but its significantly louder for people in the east and west.
Yeah, I wondered about that. Saw a few more stairs open at the end last night.
Fair enough on the rest. Will have to find you one game.
