Amen. This tired and forced mantra against our local boys is getting old—sheesh!
To be fair, though, the landscape for football in North America, in a way, forces the league's hand; after past failures, they've really got to tread carefully, even with the sport on the rise.

I reckon they might see what they have, between Fraser, Chapman and others slotting in; if needed, we might see a Hasler-esque signing in the summer, giving us assured quality in depth.

Actually, on top of the 1.2 mil. we had, and the 2.8 just added (making the 4 mil. your referenced), we can use 2019's 2.8 TAM for the upcoming season (total of $6.8 million)… just have to be careful...
