Where are the "everything is fine" folks?
Hard to be sure in that video & at that angle, but that looked weak on Bono's part. Not like it was a rocket to the top near corner which is hard to stop. More of a dribbler, where you think he...
Oops good point.
As this looks mostly like a starting lineup (minus Mavinga and Piatti), wondering again what's happening to Gallardo. I think he only played the first pre-season game?
Yes but many people were still expecting TFC to sign a player somewhere within the realm of Giovinco when he signed here -- even if in a different position. The knowledgeable fans understood that...
Are you sure? I thought you can have one buyout per year that will no longer count against the cap. That's what we often said in previous years when we wanted to dump someone -- and the buyout was...
I think it was actually Pozuelo who passed to Gallardo. Fraser's passing is also good.
That was a really nice touch in the video, having Piatti get involved in making his own jersey. I can't remember seeing that before with other TFC players.
Yes I think there is cap relief for a buyout.
I agree on the thin spots you mentioned. With Moor gone, we need another Ciman-level CB. Omar and/or Mavinga will miss some games due to injury /...
They still have this year's buyout available, so who knows, we shall see.
Add Pozuelo to your "need to stay fit" list. I know he was iron man over his two-country super-extended season last year &...
Wow I'm outta here for tonight, some of these hot takes, not worth the bother.
But Giovinco was 3 years younger than Pablo, and had no major/recent injury history, when he came to TFC. When you consider, all together, age, size, injuries, and recent playing time, seems like too...
Funny to see some of his teammates kneeling to give him a hug after the goal.
It's nice to have some rumours at least. But as others have mentioned, given size, age, injuries, and playing history...
Um I think we're talking about a different Piatti here...
Sshhhh, you're disturbing the "everything is fine" crowd!
CB hasn't been talked about much. Drew Moor is gone; certainly somebody that was in our plans at the start of the previous seasons. Omar...
LOL, not sure if Marc TFC is around here much, but OgtheDim is mostly very positive. Some would say, occasionally too much so. ;)
Many games Shaffelburg didn't even make the bench anymore. Games where TFC could have used some speed late in the game. Instead Pozuelo was often stuck on the left wing.
I'm happy they made the...
Oh god no please not Pozuelo on the wing. I hate it, and he hates it (although he also said he would do what the coach tells him). Square peg / round hole.
"Two weeks..."
I like to use that as a bad example, not a good example. Pozuelo was available no problem last January, when he was talking to a Saudi club. It was big news at the time in Belgium, and TFC was...
This may not be relevant to anything, but Alex Bono is hanging out & jogging with Nico Hasler in Liechtenstein.
I don't speak French, so I couldn't understand Mavinga's recent Instagram story. But I wonder if the BIG thing coming is a new haircut or new hair colour... g:D
I think this is a good plan in theory. However I seem to remember from interviews or something else that Bono isn't happy with his reduced role? He may push for a move.
I wish people would actually read what Mavinga said to Benezet, before commenting based on their preconceived notions. Chris actually also tells Benezet to chill, and not get into Twitter debates...
And some of those games where Shaffelburg didn't even make the bench, Pozuelo was playing left wing... A couple of games I felt we really could have used a burst of late speed, but Shaff...
