I'll take a HD broadcast of the game, then the highlights in TFC's YouTube channel, and whatever coverage they put up on the team's website. Those old GolTV broadcasts looked shabby as hell.

This summer has been completely fucked. 30+ degrees every day, humid, and barely a drop of rain. It's like the Serengeti.
Just gotta keep a watchful eye on things as fans, and make noise if necessary. I really don't think the Argos have much leverage to begin with.
Can't help but wonder if the crazy heat this summer...
If the Indy setup is enough to keep you away from an Argos game, then you aren't an Argos fans. Give me a break.
I think the big problem the CFL has with Toronto, is that Toronto is increasingly seeing itself as "above" something as small-time as the CFL. Yet he Argos are also too important a market for the...
If THAT is what we have to live with, then I am fine with it. I had to really, really look at that picture to even see them. And that's before maintenance and prep for soccer.
The real question...
Yeah, Toronto is a joke. Not like Buffalo.
Bring it down! Bring it all down!

Shows what I know about the CFL, I guess, haha.
At least the CFL season doesn't start until September, I think? Not as much schedule overlap as there could be. Of course, it also means our pitch will be exposed in the winter for CFL playoff...
If I'm reading that Argos clause right, it shouldn't cost the city or MLSE anything - the "capital cost contributions" as a result of an agreement with the Argos, should be fronted by the Argos.
The thing is, even if they are operating on the idea that "more money = good" no matter what, it becomes a matter of whether money now from the Argos, could diminish the potential return on their...
The assumption is that if MLSE owned the Argos, they would have more incentive to accommodate them.
While it's true that MLSE will make some money off the Argos as tenants for 9 dates per year...
Indeed it is, amenities-wise, from their perspective. However, they have no leverage in this matter.
Is it an "ideal circumstance" for MLSE? Unless the city forces this marriage, the ball is...
They don't necessarily need to go extinct, but there's nothing saying they can't play in a satellite suburb of Toronto, like Mississauga, and keep the name. Nobody cares that the New York Energy...
Yikes. Doing things that transparently, would infuriate a lot of season ticket holders.
I think the smart money is still on this falling apart, and the Argos ultimately figuring something else...
Awesome rant greatwhitenorf, except for one small clarification (correction?). I'm pretty sure it's Rogers that are booting the Argos out of the Dome - not that the Argos are choosing to leave -...
Did the last Grey Cup in Toronto generate $10 million in profit for the Argos?
They aren't going to save an economically failing football team in a second-tier football league, because of concerns about it "reflecting badly" on the city. That doesn't even make sense, because...
It's possible that, privately, councilors are putting pressure on MLSE to accommodate the Argos - but there certainly hasn't been any public evidence of this. On the other hand, there was lots of...
MLS soccer has a billion times the growth potential, even if MLSE decided in a year or two to buy the Argos outright. If they look at TFC as a long-term investment, and it's an either/or...
By the same token you could say there's no justification for potentially further alienating your fanbase - especially when it's to accommodate a team you don't even own.
I think ultimately if the City wants this done, then MLSE can't do too much about it. However, I've seen little evidence that the City is leaning THAT hard on them, and plenty of evidence that...
