I think they will be taken down for sure. Looks ok from the pitch but looking at the ugly scaffolding mess on the outside of the stadium to keep it there I don't see how that would be wanted.

Maybe they should keep it there and protect my seats from the wind at my back. The south end roof was already a joke for coverage and now it will look even stranger. Whatever. I honestly don't...
Haha....I should have noticed it maybe more from the south end but never noticed it...now I am going to....thanks alot.
Back of 114 we could not hear the announcer at all almost all game either. They need to add a couple speakers in the south I think.
Ok so I got my answer about the roof coverage in the accessible row at the top of the south end now. The roof does absolutely nothing. Got rained on today even though it was just a little. Any...
I found it funny that in the Kurt Larson interview with Hunter that Hunter says because they were in the top 5 for money spent on the stadium then that makes our stadium in the top 5 for venues in...
Thanks so much Ryan. That looks better than what I thought was going to be there. Appreciate the effort.
Thanks that would be awesome. My seats are 107-110 of 214A which is row 21 in the accessible area at the top if you can take the photo from that area it would be wicked.
Yeah we just might unless my wife is using her wheelchair that day otherwise we will be stuck or maybe we should sneak into the accessible seating halfway up the east stand if we can. Not like we...
I am anxious to see the south canopy in person. That video really doesn't give me any good feelings about coverage in the last row of the south end. They really couldn't have extended it another 10...
In the south end there is no hope for any wind to be blocked with the roof that high. I know what you are saying though. The flipside is those really hot days when having a breeze feels nice so I...
I bet you are going to have to explain now why there is a period after the T and the O making it the Tee-Dot-Oh-Dot. Haha.
Great pics. Totally different perspective from the shots we have seen previous. Was hoping to see some from the south end too when I saw these posted but I guess with the construction still going...
Since we will still have seagulls in the area...where does Bitchy sit? Up high where we can no longer see I take it. The perch was moved to the centre of the west stand away from the edge last year...
Good thing is there is less wind at night and we have mostly night games which will work out hopefully for us at the back of the south stand. I find when there is wind it usually hits us in the face...
Hey man don't let a few posts bother ya. Lots of great people on this forum. The first post I ever posted I got told off by a few people for my "ignorance" on the subject and I thought what a bunch...
Way to go dude! Much appreciated.
The structure will be able to hold the weight of the ice and snow and is built to drain to the middle of the canopy then off to the sides. There won't be an issue with snow and ice or when it melts...
Being at the very top of the south end for years I agree with this. The wind is normally not coming off the lake but usually right in our faces from the north but regardless where it comes from it...
The north end may have some lighting still even if none of the renderings show it. Since they show some on the south stand I bet there is something on the north side even if it is a stand alone kind...
Thanks for the pic. That angle makes it not look that bad. Staying a little optimistic until I see it in person.
That was me talking about the accessible area. Definitely haven't seen a pic with an angle that really shows the coverage but I am not holding my breath for decent coverage in my row anymore after...
Yeah I was thinking too and that is a good reason but since they never completed the roof on the other end that covers 203/227 it left me puzzled. If it was just due to the south end canopy needing...
Thanks for posting. Great shots. They really have my curiosity peaked with the east and west stands and how the canopy doesn't extend to the end of the stand. Really curious about why that is and...
Haha...yeah what I was thinking. That rendering of the south end umbrella better be off. No cover for the accessible row. I can't see them doing that.
