Fair enough but he built that 2017 MLS squad and he won another MLS Cup in Columbus. I would take Bez over Manning any day of the week.

My fear is that the Insigne contract could end up being worse than the last Altidore contract, a huge investment which will restrict the club's ability to make other DP signings, for an oft injured...
So true. However not an easy fix if we are at the salary cap limit.
Given that Osorio can't seem to stay healthy O'Brien is probably starting more than half the games.
Jeff Bradley used to be director of communications but I believe he retired. Web site now shows Alejandra Rueda in that role. Don't know what this person does as essentially there is no...
Hopefully those aren't our only choices.
Starting to wonder if re-signing Osorio was a good idea. This guy can't stay healthy.
Because he is probably going to be the club's next manager and/or sporting director when he retires. He is the face of the franchise, whether we like it or not.
Oldtimer at what point do you close this thread and start the "Manning and Bradley Employment Termination Watch" thread?
The question is what would Sean Johnson think of it?
Last night I made a homemade mushroom sauce for the first time, served on top of pan fried chicken breasts. Even the family was impressed and they are not easy to please.
I think even Sean...
I assume you meant to say we can't scout and attract good talent?
Right now it feels as if the club is a lot closer to the Aaron Winter era than 2017.
You seem to have some insider knowledge. What's your rationale for the lack of signings?
Is it possible that with the Hedges and Osorio contracts the club is bumping up near the cap, with only enough cap space for one or two additional signings? It's not that they don't want to sign...
The problem is TFC has more holes to fill then pretty much most teams in the league. The lack of signings brings into question even more last years decision to get rid of Auro, Lawrence and Delgado....
After today Hugo Lloris may be available on a free transfer. Gave up a Bono like goal against Arsenal. Even on a TAM deal I wouldn't take him. He looks finished.
That's what a true fan does. I will watch every game this season even if they end up last. People are frustrated with the lack of activity and just need to vent. Not just the lack of signings but...
I believe that BB is trying to bring in new players however there must be cap constraints in play. This is why the club needs to revamp their academy so that it becomes the 1st choice for local...
I suspect TFC is unattractive to not just Sean Johnson. I also wonder how much cap space is left after signing Hedges, which may explain the lack of signings.
Some posters were saying TFC...
CPL is a much lower league and those clubs operate on a shoe string budget. Apples to Oranges comparison.....hopefully not rotten apples and oranges.
I was at a few York games last year, there...
As it stands now we are doing neither. TFC is the only professional club in Ontario, which is the soccer hotbed of the country. We need to tap into that player pool, which is only going to get...
That is my point exactly. The academy has been a failure so there needs to be a focus on making it top notch. It needs to be the primary feeder system to the 1st team, especially given the...
This club has had difficulty in signing non DP players in recent years, whether it's incompetent scouting, players not wanting to play in Toronto, or whatever other reason. There has to be a re...
Suggest that "our scouts are useless" also be added. That’s definitely me.
Many of us are sitting here wondering why there are no new signings, given the number of deficiencies and lack of depth in the squad. However maybe mgmt doesn't see it that way. Perhaps the only...
