well, not accurate....allocation from the league can be used to buy down
salary over league minimum, and we just had a long thread about why
we couldn't add another DP....that was my point

you do know that the league pays salaries, right?
yes, i haven't been banned yet, but i received negative rep points from the moderator that i called BS on his "i can see the future" post.....in my opinion, RPB is falling apart...splintered support,...
the Chicago Fire for allocation $
Dallas is paying the cap hit, but probably not the DP money
getting a different answer from Ives, not that he is correct but:
@SoccerByIves i thought Nesta's contract with Montreal will make him a DP next year, no?
@SoccerByIves Never heard that,...
are you sure about that?
are you sure?

that is PM's title: Head Coach and Director of Soccer Operations
thought that it was non-DP this year, DP next year, no?
he has been playing more midfield than defender though, i really don't think he has spent 90% of his time playing CB in MLS, even though he doesn't seem to play in 50% of the matches..
that is the midfielder Cahill, not the Chelsea defender Cahill
i pointed out the Rafa DP tag as well...his response was that Rafa can and does play midfield as well, so not a defender only..
i was tweeting back and forth with Ives and he believes MLS most likely would block a DP deal for a defender so as not set a precedent. most likely why Bocanegra has not sign with MLS yet..
Molinaro now reporting same as Rollins and Ives:
John Molinaro @JohnMolinaro Source close to the team told me that the deal was done with Mellburg but the league did not give its approval.
if MLS did push for this, i would imagine that the scenario would be something like: up to 3 Canadian players on a US MLS team would be considered domestic. doubt it would be unlimited.
he attended high school and university in the US, would be surprised if he didn't have status in the US, either a green card or a citizen..
and their new way is working like a charm
this should give TFC cap space for half of Aceval's salary, good move, hopefully a CB will be on the way..
correct, and they now are trying to play a more possession type game...
what was the point of bringing up the 5 game losing streak? and, TFC has only 1 win since PM took over, when he played more possession?
you just indicated that Colorado is on a 5 game losing streak, what was your point there? then you say that TFC played more of a possession game against Colorado to win, and you insisted that PM...
yes, and the new head coach is trying to employ a possession style game....brush up on your facts, your making a case for the other side..
since 2007, head coaches who have won the MLS Cup:
2007 - Kinnear
2008 - Schmid
2009 - Kreis
2010 - Gary Smith
2011 - Arena
since 2007, head coaches who have won the Supporter's Shield:
Drew Moor is the other CB for Colorado, and he is considered one of the top defenders in the league, and Chad Marshall was the other CB for the Crew, who is also considered to be a top defender in...
