Wrong. Gareth Wheeler broke the news that Giovinco was about to sign on the 14th of January, at the time the Sunderland deal broke. Nobody else even mentioned him until Saturday, unless they were...
shut down any thread that talks about a player and place it in an ever increasingly jumble of one thread, then puts up a waste of time like this. wow
according to the article posted, the main reason QPR want to do this is to get his salary off the books...how can we pay it?
glad we won...can we call ourselves a superclub now?
pass and move, ball on the ground
who am i watching again?
clearing up now
if the lag is bothering you, just back up the stream a bit
fog, no sound
jumpers for goal posts?
yeah, and Canada is going to build 10-12 World Cup calibre stadiums.
Pipe Dream.
The only way this could possibly work is a co-host setup with the US. I could see a two stadium development...
so does anybody actually think its realistic that Canada will build 10-12 world cup capable stadiums needed to host ? South Africa had 10, Brazil will have 12.
from worst team in the world to super club in 6 months...most impressive.
i was actually going to mention the McGriff/Fernandez trade for Carter/Alomar.
i feel like i should have cooked turkey today.
thanks
just curious, but what was the answer?
oh come on, Andrea Lombardo
on his way

cheers...considering the international coverage we have been getting the last few days, you could spend a while linking articles :)
http://Transfer News: Spurs striker Jermain Defoe to join Toronto FC at the end of February
so he joins the team at the end of February
its certainly the first time we have really seen a team built before the season starts...or even the preseason. it looks great on paper....looking forward to seeing it play out.
thanks for nailing down some answers from them John.
You know what my issue is with this...we spent $650 million on a multi-purpose stadium back in the day. why do they have to move out of there,...
really? so if reports are correct, we are about to spend $100 million to boost this team, something that has never been done in this league, and you want a refund if it doesn't work out?
save...
wow, start adding up the numbers for transfer fee's and contract, and Toronto FC could be spending around $100 million for two players.
whats funny about this is the amount of negative comments about a top US player leaving Serie A for the MLS like its a step back for the US overseas reputation.
don't think i've seen this posted...
