Completing the West upper stand (fill in to the end of the suites -- compared to the new West side is short about 3-4 sections -- and fill in the SE and SW corners) and North End seating.
FIFA allows the stadia to reach the 40k minimum with Temporary seating.
the only potential permanent change could be retractable seating in the North end (but that won't go to 40k)
Probably only going to be Temp seating (think the Centennial Classic stands in the north end [wrap around the scoreboard], and the extra playoff seating from MLS cup last year)
1. Argos Banner
- News flash, a sign for them this year was coming whether people bitched about it or not. Just be glad that it isn't an Argo's logo made in the seats on the East stand with blue...
Seeing all the photos through the link, it seems as thought the stadium looks 'finished' in that the major components (East Stands, Canopy, Lights) seem to be close to 100% complete, with the field a...
I think he means the billboard in the picture above.
Its just another advertising board for MLSE/Exhibition Place to make money. TFC is just one of many Bell/Rogers things to be advertised on it.
I don't know if they will.
I forget which Grey Cup it was but I remember it was in a stadium that had an endzone scoreboard like BMO and the temp stands were built around it (in a U-shape for...
They will probably build a temp stand in the North end just for the game once the Grey Cup is completed (when the south end additional seats will be added).
i agree with this, the only one that looked somewhat good was 2014 in Michigan Stadium since their stands are so close
From the looks of the photo, there are 3 points on the main supports (the three horizontal white beems on the main supports) ... the roof itself in the south if attached at the top point, and I have...
Well that is generally where the Argo locker room is located under those stands (see posted a few above). The white sheeting is probably just for heat and coverage from elements.
I am hoping what they mean by 'recognition' is simply hanging the Argo's Grey Cup and retired number banners.
Those were expected to go up somewhere, hopefully out of the way (maybe in the gap on...
^^ They may be talking about the 3-4 rows of 'Premium' seats that were in front of the two boxes on either side of the north stands. They were charged at a premium price and having 3-4 rows of...
