It's a sorry state of affairs when u only get 12,000 for a season opener. There's no excuses, TFC had the same conditions (actually worse with WWE across the street) around the stadium last...
it's almost purely about players running from one end of the field to the other. Almost no scrums or players digging into the ground really. Not the type of game that would result in a pitch...

The city leadership, i.e. the mayor, is an ex-commissioner of the CFL business - it has spoken out in his current position - why isn't this a conflict of interest I don't know..
