Is there any reason why?
Seba as a DP in this league still makes sense to be honest. It’s all about whether or not you think you can get a better player and how much he asks for. Anything under 4.5m makes sense imo.
I thought Gallacher was pretty good considering his age. Would have been a good back up left back to have. Laryea, Auro, Gallacher and a starting left back looks really good to me at fullback.
Given Armas just came in I’d be okay with the summer once he’s got a better idea of the roster.
Having a third DP before March isn’t going to make or break our playoff chances and if it does then...
Evaluating how this club is going to stack up in MLS spending going forward is a nuanced discussion. We're always going to be pushing around the top of the league. This club will likely always be...
This last bit here is my biggest takeaway from the Armas process. Management is more trying to be economical than playing it safe by not sacking old guard (Vanney, Bradley, Jozy) when it may be...
Hiring Armas flies in the face of a strategy that involves starting both Michael Bradley and Jozy Altidore. Going to be a interesting year.
It’s never been said but they definitely got the star treatment. Seba throwing a bitch fit when being subbed with 2 goals and Jozy getting carded for ridiculous reasons (like talking shit to the ref...
Wow. Imagine you have a coach that’s won a ridiculous amount of awards and some fresh hire GM that got bounced from his own project at his last club.... And you side with the GM.
I’d probably be classified as one of those people. Big reality check. I’m not impressed at all by Armas. We’ll see how this goes and he’ll get the benefit of the doubt from me. Will be interested to...
Michael Barrios just moved to Colorado for a fucking song. Can the front office please sort their shit. That’s the kind of winger we could of used.
Between Jozy and Ozil we’d have two of the laziest guys in the league
I like Diego Alonso much more than Armas or Olsen.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Viera was offered and rejected it and now they’re covering their asses.

Using the draft as a deadline and not the start of the January transfer window is an MLS 1.0 move.
Fuck putting our name in the hat for MLS free agents and screw half of the January recruitment...
Agreed. I have no problem with negative tactics so long as they make sense.
I don’t mind watching us grind games out. I actually enjoy it more. The Nelsen 2014 wins were some of my favourites because it felt like I was watching a bit of a war on the pitch. Everyone was...
Olsen > Armas.
My expectations for this hire are real fucking low. Club feels like it’s regressed in ambition since Manning came on.
This is extremely accurate. The best players on the team this year were Pozuelo and Laryea in that order. The rest of the team wasn’t even close imo.
The alternative is that the hiring of Manning and Curtis indicates the opposite. Specifically, that MLSE’s hirings indicate a vision of this club that is no longer shiny and more NYRB than LA Galaxy....
Brutal, but I struggle to disagree with any of this.
I think it’s either Vieira or someone completely out of left field. First week of Jan I’d peg for the announcement.
Having looked more deeply at Vieira’s track record I’m way less high on him than...
