Or roar on Bob Hunter as he strives to make Lamport Stadium the new home of the Argos.
For MLS, yes.
For hockey? Hah! Only the upper decks got a proper view of the game.
Up in the arse end of the south stand temporary seats, it was a challenge to stay involved in the game. It...
So, what do they do with the BMO signage? Cover it up?
So glad I didn't opt for a South End group hang gliding metaphor:

You guys have clearly taken my whimsical take and driven this thread well off course.
Not sure what there is within this pic to be so celebratory about. A bunch of scaffolding that might not even need seats placed on it until late December sitting almost beneath one of the modern...
An architectural shit show.
Maybe the presence of a casino would help liven atmosphere. Councillor Mark Grimes - who's a huge Argos fan - is apparently an expert on them:

Balanced lighting doesn't matter much. Whatever gives TV a good image is all that matters.
Your comment suggests you never visited Maple Leaf Gardens when the Leafs played there. Lighting from the...
Rio's Maracana Stadium - reconfigured for 2014 - didn't hold 80,000. On it's WC stadium website, FIFA had it logged at just over 71k. Other sources say it holds a bit more, but less than 80k.
You...
If only people in the ACC platinum suites and directors lounge would stop talking about it.
But they haven't. And they're in a position to know better than any of us.
oops
No one should rely on the sort of self-fellating, blowjob journalism that we get from sports marketing organizations to assess what pitch conditions will be like after some sort of alien sports event...
Had the same queston and was told it'll be done on time, on budget.
Very disappointed to see the actual construction contradict what was shown in renders of the new roof. The most recent renders clearly showed shadow patterns on the seats from the overhead roof...
It's not a proper roof. But it is an awesome Platform For Advertising.
Stands on the roof of the Food Building? Awesome? There's a rather large scoreboard in the way.
That 'beany' covering the south end looks more useful as a Platform For Advertising.
You couldn't really see the BMO Field logo at the south-east gate from far away. Now, with BMO re-upping to...
Two words.
Three 'effs'.
MLSE execs think about them too. Here's the corporate protocol.
1. Go to the Air Canada Centre.
2. Stand on the south side, the same side as the press box.
3. Look up.
4. See them huge party...
The potential is certainly there to build up the back and add more seats, party suites and a new media centre.
One doesn't actually see much through translucent panels. But the bird issue doesn't seem to stop the use of such panels in British or European stadia. We can hire curling teams in their off season...
Nice shooting Og. Those images really give us a strong sense of the scale and size of the roof. The way the roof slopes back from the pitch-side edges, it looks like it's designed to draw rain water...
Moi aussi. J'adore le ciel ouvert.
Wasn't much fussed about this whole roof deal. Would chuck in a heartbeat for a soccer-only facility.
Shouldn't be too long now before the sign showing bargain ticket pricing features the Argos. The downside to that strategy is that if they sell Argos seats at the desperately low price points needed...
