Look amazing , great to see !!
Well here they are hard at work, putting the hybrid in.

Especially when Mavinga pulled that all World move, he was kicking up stuff all over.
Will be interesting to see what happens when the Reds advance through the CCL and it begins to overlap with the start of the MLS regular season? Got to be optimistic !!
And once the Raiders move to Las Vegas it mark the end of an era, as there will not be a single MLB/NFL shared stadium left. Houston is the one example where American football is played on a regular...
Don’t see a MLSE CPL partnership/relationship coming together at this point. If a decision was made at some point to move the Argos out of BMO to maintain the grass for the Reds, I could see...
They do practice there on what would be a short and narrow field. Which is not ideal but I guess they have to make due. They also practice at Lakeshore Collegiate.
Varsity already had a Canadian size football field plus a track around it. The old Varsity was the Argos stadium for years. Can’t compare the two sites.
The footprint of Lamport does not work for a Canadian football field, with King Street to the north. Not sure with the envolving makeup of Liberty Village having a 20K seat stadium would be accepted...
TFC2 is not on the BMO pitch for the rest of their season. They are playing their final four home games at Lamport.
The process of replacing the pitch down at BMO has begun, they have pulled it up.

Yeah that was reported a while back.
So the pitch must be getting worse, thus in terrible shape. The TFCII game tomorrow has been moved to Pittsburgh due to unplayable pitch conditions at BMO Field. Looks like the Reds dodged a bullet...
The Argos home opener is June 23 and as of right now reports suggest their home pre-season game is going to be played at the University of Guelph.
It was getting ripped up pretty good tonight in places. Hopefully its in decent shape for Saturday's TFC2 game. I am sure there are some people who would love to see the game played elsewhere. To bad...
Houston has to have one of the worst pitches among the SSS’s in the league. Home to a few college gridiron teams it gets torn up more often than not.
With the TFCII home opener on Saturday postponed, with suggestion it’s because of maintaining the pitch for Friday and Tuesday. Hope this does not become an issue especially with the weather expected...
Wolfpack's first game at Lamport is scheduled for May 5. Lamport has heavy rec use, the Toronto Sport and Social Club already had the field booked quite a bit when
TFC2 schedule came out.

The pitch is already looking better, with two weeks of rest still to come. Next event is TFC vs. RSL on Good Friday.
Lamport is out as you simply can't fit a Canadian field there. Now they could go to Varsity as they did under the previous ownership but I am not sure MLSE would like the optics of that at all,...
Thank god the BMO Field pitch gets a break for the next couple weeks.

Field was shit tonight, has taken a real beating over the last week, with the cold and all. It was coming up in chunks vs. The Tigres. Was very hard to play up the middle. Hopefully a few weeks off...
Some safe standing setups still have fold down seats. That is what I would like to see in consideration of those who need to sit at times.
But would there still be fold down seats?
I wonder if it will be the same type of grandstand or a more permanent structure?
