Why not have a modular turf system you could overlay on top of the existing grass, like they used at Rayo OKC (RIP)?

TFC's last home game is Oct 28th and the Argos last home game is Oct 20th. Assuming the Argos end up no better than 3rd and TFC misses the playoffs, could MLSE rip up the turf...

I remember discussing this back when there was talk of the Argo timeshare. A strong polymer anchor grass is planted 2cm apart from each other, with the natural grass growing inbetween the anchors....

And the NFL played a game four days before a Euro Qualifier shows that not even Hybrid grass can hold up to pointyball. Both England and Slovenia teams were shocked at the condition of the field.

They were ripping up the grass anyways after the Leafs game, weren't they? I guess it's good that it isn't too cold so that they can prep the ground for laying new sod sooner than later.
