First 5-6 rows of the south end are removed (7 sections = 750-1250 seats approx.)
North end Premium seats (250-500) plus patio (500-1000)
Gets pretty close to the change from TFC to Argos.
More than likely the Argo Pre-season game will be at Varsity Stadium as they have done the last few years.
I am just waiting to see Larry T, or the Bell rep start talking at the presser then all the reporters look at their phones and run out of the room because of Babcock signing with the Leafs.
If the new turf we get next year is the same as what Wembly has then it should be able to withstand the roll-over-top.
IIRC Wembly has covers for when concerts, boxing and other events that...
This was my first thought as well.
Make the Argos buy a new turf surface for their games that can be rolled over the grass for game days only, then it can be stored during the week and in between...
