Looks like Spurs will have an opening this week...
Damn it's all falling apart now. Poor Chris. He almost pulled off a stunner.
2-2. Actually a good result for Leeds. Well done Chris!
2-0. Chris is walking right in to Old Trafford and dealing Man U's title hopes a death blow while simultaneously sparking hope of Leeds avoiding relegation. They're gonna give him the job full time!
I shoulda put it here: what a start to the Chris Armas era!
A goal less than a minute in. The prodigal son returns to Old Trafford.
But Armas will run Leeds on an interim basis until the new manager is hired, then will join Jesse at USMNT.
After bringing in the whole USMNT, former Montreal Impact manager Jesse Marsch fired?!!
Ha, didn't think of the Chris Armas angle. Been there all of two weeks?!
His free kicks from 20 yards-ish out were pretty much as good as penalties.
Earnie Stewart gone now. Do all these moves make it more or less likely that it's a broken process? I think they are going to go for a big name for the lead-up to hosting, but sounds like a few have...
I'm watching the USMNT coaching situation from afar. Remember when we had discussions a few years ago about Greg Vanney being the next USMT coach and the one who would lead them into the 2026 World...
Tottenham signed Djed Spence. Now we'll really find out if Richie is in the Nottingham Forest plans. Also, clearly he had very top class competition for that spot, so him not starting isn't...
Ha just read that and came here to post. Poor Leeds. And LeedsandTFC. Bet he never saw the direct line between the two teams he supports coming!
Anyone know what's happened to Christopher Armas now? He with Austria? We all know he was true brains behind Man United gegenpressing so he must have landed on his feet.
Yeah possibly. I’m not sure he could expect to start on a team fighting for promotion but another mid-table team just off the playoffs he could. Should have looked for a team weaker in that position.
I think it's going to be hard for him to get in this year because of the quality Nottingham Forest has at wingback. Especially on the right with Spence. Spence won't be there next year, as Jloome...
It's just another piece of the failure of Ed Woodward. He needs to go if Man U is going back to former glory.
Nottingham Forest has two solid wingbacks on either side, especially Spence on the right. I can't see him dislodging either as a starter. Not making the bench is a bit a worrisome though. Spence is...
In fairness Ragnarok has ruined your football on the other side. Armas is just there for the ride.
I’ll just leave this here. Not often an assistant coach makes the news.

I'm just gonna say that when Armas...
I thought they looked all right when they switched out of that ludicrous 4-2-2-2 and went to more of a 4-2-3-1 with Bruno playing more advanced against Aston Villa. At least until about the 70th...
Although I have to wonder if Sunderland were able to make a contract with anyone over the past five years without that out. There are only so many times you can make a miracle escape.
Yeah that's a crazy story. Hope he can recover from all that.
Yup. I wish they would just go down already....
Defoe has had a fantastic season. Not too surprising he gets the call.
