Cheyrou is pure class
Fraser agility has improved, but he is still too static for the role. He needs to get way better.
It appears nobody from our farm system is prepared to seriously step in. It could be a culture issue when players know their pecking order and not striving to win a position from the establishment....
Even better, and we will need more than one, since both Moor and Ciman are on the last legs.
Agree, we do need another Mavinga type player badly. For a DM, Delgado or Bradley could have been re-purposed. Delgado has the range, and tenacity, and apparently no offensive ambitions. IMO, his...
Noticed last couple of games he has looked weak on the ball (much better at winning the ball back though). That lack of sharpness in possession from him, and Osorio to a lesser degree, made that an...
I would add a few :canada:championship finals to that as well.
They have to be worth something aside from CCL berth
I think he was with Seattle 2, released, and then joined TFC 2.
Mista was much more comfortable on the ball, Ager more like a deer in headlights :D
Still hope he somehow recovers from his last performance.
Our Num 8 really stood out, IMO.
Nobody in this league wins just by showing up, they better be well prepared, and motivated for a fight.
Gignac came in for the 2nd half.
Hassler did score a couple of beauties, has a good work rate, and awareness. I for one, would like to see him try at CM.
OT
FWIW, Columbus Crew SC acquires midfielder Artur on a permanent transfer from Sao Paulo FC on December 6, 2017.
I just assume that "Navy" was it, since others were planned against Liga MX teams.
For our baby TFC we should really try to find something easier they can play with, than Navy. Maybe landscaping...
If the Friday scrimmage was against a "group of unattached", was there anybody we may want to have a look at?
I hear we can really use another warm body at RB ?
After the red card DC sat back.
We were not quick enough to set up shots from outside, or penetrate the box. Too cute at times.
We would have benefited from Cheyrou (NA) and Cooper to unlock the...
Cooper should be getting much more love than he does on this board. He is our midfield engine on the most games.
Vanney needs to encourage Cooper and Vasquez to shoot more to spread the offence...
the source sites MNUFC as the destination now.
Vanney is certainly above the average NA player, and he is been around MLS, but at the same time Winter/Preki perhaps had more decent resume at the time.
At the time of hiring he had no head...
If TFC were able to attract Jovinco level talent, I am sure they would be able to properly scout an experienced manager [ from elsewhere ] as well.
Cheers!
Well I am not paid to do the scouting, but a name I would respond to would be M. Laudrup. If somebody like him could drill this team to keep the ball as Swansea used to, that would made me happy.
I have never had issues with Vanney, more with people who choose to hire him.
He seem to be doing OK, compared to what I had feared, but we are riding his learning curve. The defence has improved,...
I have been critical of Vanney appointment from day 1. Still, Greg actually did his best to improve our game on the 'our' 2/3 of the field, and that is where his expertise as a player showed up. I...
Just as VWC hit the post a min in ET, I thought we would somehow win, it just took up till the last second
