I’d much rather the four youth players are you kidding me. That is a ridiculous amount of depth to be able to add to a roster and 600k is a shit ton of salary to sign a 21 year old out of Argentina...
Ali says Jozy is coming back next year. I’m not surprised, but I don’t think we’ll ever contend until he’s gone. Not feasible when you only have two legitimate DPs out of three. How on earth two...
I’d certainly rather another year of Piatti on max TAM than two more of Bradley at the same number.
If Jozy doesn’t leave, whoever takes Vanney’s place is agreeing to manage a hamstrung roster. Might make it difficult to attract a top coach.
Honestly might be a hard sell to get a top manager when our club is tied to Bradley and Jozy. That’s a lot of roster flexibility gone. Especially for a DP. Jozy is actually a liability. We basically...
We’re not short handed so much as we can’t keep a starting striker fit
Is it entirely impossible for Jordan Perruzza to start now instead of 2021?
Listen man I don’t want to engage on this beyond this post. I feel like we are too far apart.
Just remember you’re talking about a guy who spends less than 50% of his time on the pitch and...
Oh yes Jozy so critical so important this season. The guy has more cautions than he has goals. Man you really make me laugh.
I think a convo re: re-upping Piatti needs to start happening. He’s a player of obvious quality but he’s got an injury history and his contribution looks more TAM than DP. Personally, I’d look to...
Truer words
It wouldn’t surprise me if we start to hear more similar stories as we get closer to what appears to be his inevitable exit. Jozy’s always been a character on (and off) the pitch for better or for...
He was highly touted coming from Falkirk, will be interesting to see how much time he gets. Even at Falkirk (Scot 2nd Division) he was poor defensively but good going forward.
Looks like we’ve got a tactical guru here
at least Cavallini finds his way onto the pitch more often than not (which is an incredibly low bar to clear)
Disagree. I think he’s good enough to play the role and would at other clubs where the AM isn’t one of the best in the league.
It would seem silly to earmark a player for that role when they are so open about their desire to play Attacking Midfield and earned a TAM contract off the back of a 20 goal season.
