The east and west roofs look imposing and impressive. The south looks kinda odd, more like a floating bridge than a roof. I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it will keep anybody very dry or keep any sound...

It may just be a rendering issue in this picture, but it shows the back end of the "canopy" being open (so air goes through the canopy fully). That isn't going to help "keep the sound in" as most...
Given the height of the east stand I would suggest anybody in the first 15 or so rows will definitely still get wet in the rain.
